About this episode

Becca Pizzi is a seventh-generation Belmont native, endurance athlete, coach, race director, author, and mom. She ran her first race at six and her first Boston Marathon at seventeen. Since then, she has completed more than 100 marathons, raced in all 50 states, finished all six World Marathon Majors, and competed at both Ironman World Championships.

In 2016, Becca became the first American woman to finish the World Marathon Challenge: seven marathons, seven continents, seven days. She returned in 2018 and set a new world record.

In this first episode of Wicked Business Boston, Charlie talks with Becca about the work behind those accomplishments, how she built a life around endurance sport, and what it takes to keep showing up year after year.
